The renovation of the 560-room hotel will be carried out in phases, with each phase costing PHP100m ($2.2m).

The first phase will begin this year and the convention facility rehabilitation will start early next year.

The first two phases will be undertaken within the next ten months, while the last phase will be carried out during the first quarter of 2012, according to bworldonline.com.
