Marriott International is to open a Courtyard hotel at Benito Juarez International Airport, Mexico City, Mexico.

The 292-room Courtyard Mexico City Airport is expected to open in early 2012.

The hotel’s 292 rooms will be situated over four levels. The patio level will feature retail outlets, a mezzanine level will house the lobby and fitness centre, and the underground parking will spread over two levels to accommodate 480 cars.

The hotel will be connected to the airport’s international terminal 1 by a footbridge.

The hotel will be owned by Penon SA de CV.

Courtyard Mexico City Airport will be the seventh Courtyard property to open in Mexico, with four more Courtyards in the pipeline.
