Wyndham to Strengthen Presence in China

Wyndham Hotel Group, part of the Wyndham Worldwide, has signed an agreement to add three Ramada properties to its hotel portfolio in China. The properties include the Ramada Plaza Sanya, which will be Wyndham's first Ramada property in China, scheduled to open in June 2012. <

Wyndham Hotel Group, part of the Wyndham Worldwide, has signed an agreement to add three Ramada properties to its hotel portfolio in China.

The properties include the Ramada Plaza Sanya, which will be Wyndham’s first Ramada property in China, scheduled to open in June 2012.

Owned by Hainan Mingboda Real Estate Development, the 12-storey hotel features 496 rooms including 88 suites, a ballroom, meeting space, business centre, executive lounge, spa, swimming pool, fitness centre and three restaurants.

The other two franchise agreements have been signed with Shaoguan Fengdu Real Estate for the Ramada Plaza Shaoguan City Centre and the with Suzhou Dingfeng Real Estate Development for the Ramada Suzhou North.

The Shaoguan City Centre features 320 rooms, a meeting space, spa, fitness centre, game room, gift shop and two restaurants, and is expected to open in January 2012.

The 20-storey Ramada Suzhou North is scheduled to open in mid 2013 and will have 278 rooms, including 28 suites, meeting space, business centre, spa, indoor swimming pool, fitness centre, gift shop and two restaurants.
