Wyndham Hotel Group has signed an agreement to manage a South Sea Resort hotel in Karon, Phuket, Thailand.

The hotel is undergoing an upgrade and will open under the Ramada brand at the end of the year.

The resort includes a 152-room hotel with an outdoor pool, gym, spa, meeting space, pool bar, all-day dining restaurant, and teppanyaki and sushi bars.

This is the second agreement to be signed between South Sea Resort and Wyndham Hotel Group. The first was signed in March 2011 for the development of the Wyndham Khao Lak, which will open in late 2011.

Ramada Worldwide, a member of the Wyndham Hotel Group, is a global chain of nearly 900 midscale and upscale hotels.
