Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement with Grupo Zarate to operate the first Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Argentina.
The hotel, set to open in the first quarter of 2013, is the company’s fourth development deal in Argentina.
It is also the brand’s second hotel in South America, following the Hilton Garden Inn Santiago Airport in Chile, which is expected to open later this month.
The 159-room Argentinean hotel will feature a bar, a 100-seat restaurant, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, a sun deck and tennis courts, a fitness centre, 399² of meeting space and a 24-hour business centre.
The overall development project will also feature a 5016² convention centre, 2972² of commercial space and 144 residential condominiums.
Hilton Worldwide manages Hilton Buenos Aires in Puerto Madero, and has two hotels under development — the Hilton Iguazu Resort and Hilton Ushuaia.
