A new online tool allowing travellers to search hotel reviews based on common interests, has been launched by Travelocity.

Travelocity says travellers now have the ability to search thousands of hotel reviews to find information that is relevant to them in a range of categories including, families, couples, mature travellers, solo women, disabilities and pets.

Users of the website create profiles and post reviews relevant to their experiences at a hotel.

Other users can then search reviews based on similar profile matches.

Travelocity vice president of hotels and packaging Noreen Henry says the service eliminates the need for travellers to scour the web for reviews relevant to their situation.

“Paired with Travelocity’s vast global hotel content, our revamped hotel traveller reviews allow travellers to find the right hotel for their need and gather insight from travellers just like them,” she says.
