InterContinental Hotel Group has announced the construction of its first Crowne Plaza Hotel in Denmark.

The Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers, an integrated part of a commercial development, is a short ride away from downtown Copenhagen in Orestad City.

The 365-room hotel is expected to open in late summer 2009.
