Accor has officially launched its Pullman brand into the Asia-Pacific market.

The announcement follows Pullman’s European launch last month, which outlined 12 openings in France, Germany and Belgium.

Accor Asia-Pacific managing director Michael Issenberg says Pullman will be one of the company’s fastest-growing brands in the region.

By the end of 2009, the Pullman network will consist of 59 hotels with over 15,600 rooms in 23 countries, accordng to a statement.

While some existing Pullman hotels will benefit from rebranding, the first group of Pullman hotels in Asia will largely be new builds, Issenberg says.
