Leeds Metropolitan University has launched a masters degree based around the role of responsible and green practices in the hospitality industry.

The university’s International Centre for Responsible Tourism (ICRT) launched the Responsible Hospitality Management MSc to meet the growing demand for sustainable and ethical solutions in the international hospitality industry.

ICRT Director of Studies Xavier Font says the course has been developed through the centre’s consultancy work with international hotel chains and the Green Tourism Business Scheme in the UK, giving it industry grounding and the ability to teach and explore practical solutions.

ICRT is a postgraduate training centre focussing on research and development within the hospitality industry and the government.
