Starwood Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to open its first W property in North Africa.
W Marrakech and The Residences at W Marrakech mixed-use development will feature 150 hotel rooms and 68 whole-ownership villa residences.
Owned by Dilham Hotel Development SAS, the property is scheduled to open in central Marrakech in mid-2010.
W Hotels, which first opened in Dallas in mid-2006, operates 21 properties worldwide.
