Scottish Hotel of The Year Award Winners Named

Inverlochy Castle, a five-star retreat near Fort William, has been named Scottish hotel of the year at the Scottish Hotel of the Year Awards. Dakota Hotel brand founder Ken McCulloch was named hotelier of the year and Dakota Hotels also won the newcomer award for its Forth Bridge prope

Inverlochy Castle, a five-star retreat near Fort William, has been named Scottish hotel of the year at the Scottish Hotel of the Year Awards.

Dakota Hotel brand founder Ken McCulloch was named hotelier of the year and Dakota Hotels also won the newcomer award for its Forth Bridge property and the design award.

Glasgow’s Jurys Inn was named budget hotel of the year and Apex Hotels, based in Edinburgh, was hotel group of the year.

The Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh won luxury hotel of the year.

Award nominations were made by consumers, members of the industry and HotelReview Scotland reviewers.

Winners were decided by votes from more than 20,000 people.
