UK budget hotel chain Travelodge is offering guests “motivational sleeping” podcasts to help workers improve their lives while they sleep.
The ‘Nodcasts’, recorded by Neuro Linguistic Programming therapist Greg Laws, are available for guest download on the chain’s website and deal with assertiveness, confidence, communication, stress and motivation.
Travelodge sleep director Leigh McCarron says the Nodcasts were created in response to a survey showing 51 percent of the UK workforce is kept awake at night by mistakes made at work.
“Our customers tell us that their everyday worries often prevent them from getting a good night’s sleep,” she says.
“In response to this problem, we have created a series of Nodcasts, which are an aid to relax the mind and educate whilst you drop off – we are calling it motivational sleeping.”
