Carlson to Double Asia-Pacific Portfolio in Three Years

Carlson Hotels Worldwide says it will double its Asia-Pacific portfolio over the next three years, adding 50 new properties across seven countries. Carlson will open ten new hotels China, in partnership with property developers the Sunshine100 Group. India will gain 30 hotels

Carlson Hotels Worldwide says it will double its Asia-Pacific portfolio over the next three years, adding 50 new properties across seven countries.

Carlson will open ten new hotels China, in partnership with property developers the Sunshine100 Group.

India will gain 30 hotels by 2011 and seven properties are planned for Thailand.

The Regent Maldives will be launched in December this year.

Carlson operates five brands in the region: Regent Hotels & Resorts, Radisson Hotels & Resorts, Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts, Country Inns & Suites By Carlson and Park Inn.
