US Boost Helps Singapore Eye Asian Prospects

Singapore has teamed with US investor Host Hotels & Resorts to come up with a US$2bn joint venture to purchase resorts throughout Asia and Australia. According to reports, an initial spend of US$600m will allow the fund to grow, with Singapore owning 75 percent of the investment.
