The Kempinski Hotel Group has announced that it will expand its number of hotels in China, adding 12 new hotels to its management, by 2013.

The group currently owns 11 hotels in China, which make up 15% of the chain’s hotels worldwide.

The new hotels will mean China will provide 20% of the group’s turnover and profits by 2013.

The group is also expected to introduce a new five-star hotel brand, Nuo, for China.
