A new Italian five-star hotel, Palazzina Grassi, was unveiled in Venice.
French designer Philippe Starck was commissioned by hotelier Emanuele Garosci to design the aristocratic hotel, which overlooks the Grand Canal.
The 2,800m² hotel features 16 bedrooms and six apartment suites, a cosy private members-only club and a restaurant.
The interiors are lined with multicoloured hallways while rooms have Venetian fixtures.
Guests are offered a pick-up service in the hotel’s 1960’s Celli boat, which has an on-board check-in counter, and will be dropped at the hotel’s private pier.
