Choice Hotels International has unveiled plans to build two new hotels in the seaside town of Jacmel in quake-ravaged Haiti.

The group has confirmed its plans, which will be delivered in collaboration with hotel owner and developer SIMACT.

The hotel chain is currently helping with the relief effort by offering supplies, including food, water, fuel, soap and laundry detergent, directly to its Comfort Inn conversion property in Jacmel, which has been converted into a temporary shelter.
