Marriott Opens Hotel in Shanghai

The new Shanghai Marriott Hotel Changfeng Park has been unveiled in Shanghai, China, and is expected to cater to guests during the World Expo Shanghai. Located in the Changfeng Ecology Commercial District, it is owned by New Development Group (NDG) and operated by Marriott International

The new Shanghai Marriott Hotel Changfeng Park has been unveiled in Shanghai, China, and is expected to cater to guests during the World Expo Shanghai.

Located in the Changfeng Ecology Commercial District, it is owned by New Development Group (NDG) and operated by Marriott International under a long-term management agreement.

The 32-storey hotel is equipped with 501 guest rooms, a lobby and an executive lounge, located on the 31st floor, overlooking the Changfeng Park and the Suzhou River.

All the rooms feature plush new bedding, bathrobes, flat-screen television, ergonomic chairs, high-speed internet and a well-lit, full-sized desk.

Seven restaurants and bars are available, offering international and local cuisine.

The hotel is equipped with a fitness centre, a spa, a 1,500m² of meeting space comprising of 13 function rooms and a 770m² ballroom that can accommodate 700 guests.

NDG is based in Shanghai and has a business portfolio comprising hotel, real estate, wood industry, storage, trade and investments.
