Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has unveiled Fashion 26, a 22-storey, 280-room hotel in New York, USA.
The hotel’s glass and steel tower displays installation artist Devorah Sperber’s work crafted from colourful spools of thread in homage to Piet Mondrian’s paintings of the city.
The fashion-themed hotel is located opposite the Fashion Institute of Technology and was conceived by Peter F Poon Architects and designed by Glen Coben, who drew inspiration from the area’s fashion district.
The hotel offers Wyndham’s signature services and amenities including a roof-top bar and lounge, as well as fitness centres and meeting and boardroom spaces.
The hotel lobby has a fashion-inspired wooden reception desk and the guest corridors feature photography by students at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Wyndham Hotels and Resorts is a subsidiary of Wyndham Worldwide Corporation.
