The newly renovated Hotel Ukraina has opened in Moscow, Russia, following a three-year closure due to repair works. A total of $300m has been spent on renovating the historic building, which was purchased for $275m in 2005. A previous plan to operate the 88,574m² hotel

A total of $300m has been spent on renovating the historic building, which was purchased for $275m in 2005.

A previous plan to operate the 88,574m² hotel under the brand Radisson Royal Hotel Moscow was scrapped by the authorities as they wished to retain the original name.

The 505-room hotel features 38 apartments with other facilities, according to themoscowtimes.com.
