Starwood Hotels & Resorts has unveiled its newest hotel, Le Meridien Philadelphia, in the US.

The historic adaptive reuse property, housed in the former YMCA building, was developed for HEI Hotels & Resorts.

HEI will be the owner and operator of the hotel, which was designed by architect Horace Trumbauer.

The hotel features 202 guestrooms and suites, a 200-seat ballroom, a 1,300ft² reception space and 5,000ft² of meeting space.

Le Meridien, the Paris hotel brand, was acquired by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide in 2005.
