The Alpine town of Gstaad in Switzerland has launched a Bike Hotel certification scheme where guests are offered bike services during their stay.

Ten hotels have been certified under the scheme so far, which will allow them to offer information about cycling routes, lockable storage, bike repair services, tools and cleaning kits and laundry services.

The hotels will also offer cycling-themed hotel packages and additional services, reports independent.co.uk.
