All 21 hotels in the group were awarded a silver or bronze rating under the Green Tourism Business Scheme in 2009.

The company has reduced its energy use and maintained water efficiency strategies with introduction of water flow regulators.

QHotels also plans to reduce the amount of waste it sends to landfill over the coming year, according to abtn.co.uk.
