Ritz Carlton to Open World’s Highest Hotel

Next year the Ritz Carlton will open what it calls the world's highest hotel in Hong Kong, occupying floors 102 to 118 of the International Commerce Centre. The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2011 and will have 312 guestrooms offering panoramic view

Next year the Ritz Carlton will open what it calls the world’s highest hotel in Hong Kong, occupying floors 102 to 118 of the International Commerce Centre.

The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2011 and will have 312 guestrooms offering panoramic views across Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island.

The property will have six dining rooms, an alfresco rooftop bar 490m above sea level, 50m² Deluxe Rooms and 365m² Ritz-Carlton Suites. All rooms will be have WiFi, iPod docking stations and flatscreen TVs.

The hotel will also have a 930m² ballroom, 1,300m² of meeting space and a 860m² spa.
