DoubleTree by Hilton has announced the opening of a newly renovated hotel in Hyannis, Massachusetts, US, which was closed for about eight months.
The 160-room DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cape Cod – Hyannis, previously known as Radisson, is owned and operated by Ridgewood Hotel Associates under a franchise license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Worldwide.
Renovations to the hotel were completed in all areas of the hotel including guest rooms, which feature new carpeting, window treatments, furniture, and bedding in blue, beige and brown shades.
The rooms cater to business and leisure travellers and provide a single king size or two double beds, granite bathrooms, mini fridge, and complimentary wireless high-speed internet access.
According to DoubleTree by Hilton, the rooms also provide work desks; 42in LCD TVs; MP3-compatible alarm clocks; bedding and combed cotton linens; Wolfgang Puck in-room gourmet coffee and tea service; and Crabtree & Evelyn Citron bath and body products.
The function space includes a new 2,400ft² meeting room, while the lobby features a fireplace, business centre and a new lobby lounge.
As part of the renovations, an outdoor pool has been added in the landscaped courtyard, as well as an outdoor fire pit and seating area.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Cape Cod – Hyannis offers 11,000ft² of flexible meeting space; the 4,352ft² Regatta meeting room can accommodate up to 450 guests theatre-style or 300 banquet guests for business and social events.
Amenities also include a business centre, a 10,000ft² fitness centre and outdoor and indoor swimming pools, the Vyne restaurant and the Ivy Room restaurant.
