InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has signed an agreement with India-based real estate firm Eros Resorts and Hotels to manage its two new hotels in Delhi.

As part of the agreement, Eros will be responsible for operating the two new hotels, which are located in the business district of Mayur Vihar, Delhi, and will be rebranded to IHG’s Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn brands.

The Crowne Plaza New Delhi Mayur Vihar Noida has 160 guest rooms and features Infiniti, an all-day dining restaurant serving Italian, Continental and Indian cuisines, as well as a lobby lounge and bar.

Leisure facilities at the hotel include a fully-equipped health club, a spa and an outdoor pool as well as meeting facilities to address the needs of business travellers.

Holiday Inn New Delhi Mayur Vihar Noida has 193 guest rooms including suites, all-day dining restaurant Café On 3, as well as the Roadhouse Bar and Grill, an American food speciality restaurant offering grills, international cocktails and live entertainment.

The hotel features a business centre and 7,500ft² of event space for corporate meetings and social functions that can accommodate around 650 guests, as well as a fully-equipped health club and an outdoor pool.

IHG South West Asia operations vice president Douglas Martell said that Delhi is a significant city in the company’s expansion plans for India.

"The signing of the two hotels in Mayur Vihar is a great step in growing the choice of hotels we’re able to offer guests in the northern part of the country."
