InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has expanded its Holiday Inn Resort brand portfolio with the opening of Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman hotel.
Located 15 minutes drive from Owen Roberts International Airport, the hotel is conveniently placed near tourist attractions such as Stingray City and Rum Point.
The resort also offers a complimentary shuttle service, which transports guests to anywhere within five minutes of the hotel.
Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman hotel features 117 guestrooms and suites.
The suites offer extra living space and basic amenities such as fully stocked gourmet kitchen, living room, dining room and an en-suite laundry.
Other amenities include a fitness centre, tennis court, swimming pool, beach volleyball court, golf course, business centre, wireless Internet, onsite dive shop, complementary children’s activities, and aquatic activities such as onsite jet ski, kayak and snorkelling rentals.
The resort also has a poolside covered patio for conducting meetings or special events.
Dining options for guests include Blue Iguana Grill and Lounge restaurant featuring Caymanian cuisine, cocktails and beverages.
The Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman hotel is owned by The Grand Caymanian, managed by Crestline Hotels and Resorts, and is franchised by an affiliate of IHG.
IHG Mexico, Latin America and Caribbean marketing strategic services vice president Gerardo Murray said the company is excited about bringing a Holiday Inn Resort hotel to one of the most popular destinations in the Caribbean.

IHG Latin America and Caribbean chief operating officer Alvaro Diago said the Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman brings the total number of countries in which IHG has a presence in Latin America and the Caribbean to twenty-one.
