Abu Dhabi-based hotel management company Rotana is set to open two new properties in Dubai in the third quarter of 2012.
The Al Ghurair Rayhaan and the deluxe hotel apartments Al Ghurair Arjaan will have a total of 621 rooms and will be part of the new expansion of the Al Ghurair Centre.
With the opening of both hotels, the company will be operating eight properties in the UAE under the Arjaan Hotel Apartments by Rotana brand and three properties under the alcohol-free brand Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts by Rotana.
Rotana executive vice president and chief operating officer Omer Kaddouri said the company is looking forward to the upcoming opening of its 15th Rotana property in Dubai, and is confident that it will meet the demands of guests seeking contemporary accommodation, convenience and comfort.
"The total number of rooms managed by Rotana in the UAE confirms Rotana’s strong dedication in delivering premium hospitality and services, and the ultimate choice for a complete accommodation experience," Kaddouri added.
The two hotels will feature facilities including a wide choice of food and beverage venues, one ballroom and six meeting rooms. Amenities will also include Zen The Spa at Rotana, a swimming pool, a fitness centre, sauna and massage rooms.
Al Ghurair Centre is a mixed-use development project in Deira offering shopping, residential apartments and offices.
