The Latino Hotel Association (LHA) has formed a strategic alliance with Source1 Purchasing to enhance the food and beverage pricing power of LHA members.

The organisation said its voluntary Buyers’ Marketplace programme will provide more attractive pricing options through 500 existing manufacturer agreements.

LHA members will earn rebates on items they purchase, with Source1 providing tracking, collection and allocation of rebates.

Under the alliance LHA members will have a collective buying power of more than $5bn in leveraged purchasing volume.

Other benefits include secure online access to customised reports, success tools, education and trend and partnership data.

Memphis-based Source1 Purchasing is a provider of supply services; LHA is a non-profit association aiming to increase Latino participation in the hospitality industry.
