New World Hospitality is investing $1.1bn in 20 projects under development across three brands.

The New World Hotels flagship brand will be repositioned with a new visual identity and service culture in its Chinese, Vietnamese and Philippine properties.

Between 2011 to 2014, the chain will open hotels in Guiyang, Beijing, Shenyang and Qingyuan in China.

New World Hospitality also manages the service brand Pentahotels in Shanghai and a new premium luxury brand, which is under development, according to hotelworldnetwork.com.
