Ritz-Carlton is to open its second hotel in Dubai, UAE, in January 2011 and has rolled out a range of launch packages ahead of the opening.

The hotel features 341 guestrooms and suites, as well as several dining restaurants, including the Thai Blue Rain, a French brasserie and a steakhouse.

The hotel was acquired by Ritz-Carlton from Union Properties for AED1.1bn ($326.6m) last month.

Jumeirah’s Zabeel Saray is also expected to open in Dubai this month, according to Emirates247.com.
