UAE-based developer Range Hospitality is building a $100m five-star hotel in Karbala, Iraq.
Shaza Al Rawadatain Gardens, which is being constructed by Range Hospitality in conjunction with Shaza hotels, will have a built-up area of 55,000m² with 624 rooms and furnished apartments.
The Dubai-based Dewan Architects and Engineers designed the hotel, which is to be completed by 2011, according to gulfnews.com.
The hotel is part of Range Hospitality’s investment plan to provide AED3.67bn ($1bn) for the construction of five properties in the region.
