Keys Hotels will open 15 properties in India over the next three years with a total investment of Rs5.5bn ($118m).
New York-based Berggruen Hotels, the owner of Keys, plans to launch the hotels in Indian metro and tier-II cities.
Berggruen has so far invested Rs3bn ($64.8m) comprising Rs2bn ($43m) as equity and Rs1bn ($21.6m) in debt, according to businessstandard.com.
The hotel group will also open a property in Pimpri comprising 102 rooms and 40 service apartments. The property is to be operational by December 2011.
