The Rezidor Hotel Group has completed the opening of 7,200 rooms in 2010, compared with 7,100 rooms in 2009 and 6,500 rooms in 2008.

In 2010 the group opened 18 hotels under the Park Inn by Radisson brand, which includes projects in the European cities of Frankfurt, Oslo and Stockholm.

Rezidor also completed a portfolio deal in April and took over the management of the former Reval Hotels, the biggest hotel chain in the Baltic.

The hotel group has 20,000 rooms under development across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, which are scheduled to open within the next three years.

The projects under development include a second Hotel Missoni: Kuwait and two hotels in Sweden.
