Hilton Hotels and Resorts has signed an agreement with Egyptian company Afak to manage the newly built 676-room Hilton Makadi Resort.
The hotel is situated on Makadi Bay and is expected to open in the second quarter of 2012.
The hotel will feature two meeting rooms, three lounges, a dining room, two restaurants, three swimming pools, a health club, a spa, a diving centre and a private beach.
The hotel will be the 17th Hilton property in Egypt.
Hilton Worldwide has 44 hotels across 14 countries in the Middle East and Africa, with another 29 hotels under development.
