Real estate services group Legacy Hotel Advisors is to develop a 129-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Florida, US.

The five-storey hotel will be located on the new 258,998m² headquarters campus of Darden Restaurants in Orlando and is the initial phase of a multi-phase development plan.

The campus will also include 2,601m² of retail space and 4,180m² of additional office space.

Legacy expects to begin construction next year to develop the hotel facility, which is certified by Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.

On completion the property will join a local Orlando portfolio of six Courtyard hotels.
