Wyndham Hotel Group has signed an agreement with China’s Chongqing Bei Cheng Real Estate Development to open the Wyndham Chongqing North Hotel in Chongqing, China.

The 350-room property will be one of the tallest buildings in Yubei district.

The 48-storey property is scheduled to open in December 2014 and will feature an indoor swimming pool, spa, gym, three restaurants and 6,096m² of meeting space, which comprises a ballroom and seven meeting rooms.

The US hotel group operates 270 hotels representing over 42,000 rooms in China under the Ramada, Howard Johnson, Days Inn and Super 8 brands.
