Wyndham Hotel Group has signed a franchise agreement to open its first Wyndham-brand hotel in Delhi, India, in April this year.

The 394-room Wyndham New Delhi Dwarka Hotel, which is owned by Tirupati Buildings & Offices, is under construction.

The hotel will feature restaurants, a nightclub, a swimming pool, a spa, a fitness centre, a business centre and 1,300m² of meeting and banquet space.

“India is currently undergoing some of the most accelerated hotel development activity in the Asia Pacific region, which poses great opportunities for us to grow our portfolio in this market,” said Wyndham Hotel Group president and CEO Eric Danziger.
