Kimpton Hotel and Restaurant has unveiled a plan to add 50 hotels to its portfolio in the US over the next decade, including ten new hotels in New York.
The US-based hotel group, which owns 51 boutique hotels, plans to add four to five hotels each year over the next decade.
Kimpton also plans to open new hotels in Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills or West Hollywood.
The group said it has $120m in capital to convert its existing boutique hotels, renovate vacant buildings or build new hotels as part of its expansion plan, according to businessweek.com.
