Kingdom Hotel Investments (KHI), a subsidiary of Kingdom Holding Company, has sold its stake in Swissotel Kunshan, China, for $61m to Malaysia-based TA Global.

The five-star hotel is located in the centre of Kunshan, along the western edge of the Kunshan Economic and Technological Development Zone.

The hotel features 387 rooms, a 616m² ballroom, six function rooms, two restaurants, a lobby bar, a spa and a health club.

The transaction is expected to be completed in March 2011, according to tradearabia.com.

KHI owns 23 hotel properties across 17 countries, including 19 operating hotels and resorts, with four hotels and resorts under construction.
