MGM Hospitality, which is based in Las Vegas, US, has signed an agreement with Silver Resort Hotel to develop luxury hotels in India.

Under the agreement, the partnership will build a 480-room luxury hotel in Delhi under the MGM Grand brand.

The project will be developed by India-based Silver Resort Hotel while MGM Hospitality will provide design assistance and operate the hotel.

The hotel will feature MGM’s Skyloft suites and serviced apartments, with operations expected to start in early 2014.

The hotel is one of a number of properties planned for India, including one in Gurgaon, one in South Delhi and one near New Delhi International Airport.
