Castlewood Group is to build a new hotel near Bang Tao Beach in Phuket, Thailand.

The hotel will feature 200 guestrooms and a private rooftop penthouse.

The Phuket property is expected to open in 2013 and will be managed under Castlewood’s in-house brand 8over8.

The Singapore based-hotel group also plans to expand its hotel brand to Koh Samui in Thailand and Langkawi in Malaysia.
