Marriott International is to add the Renaissance Antibes Juan-les-Pins Hotel, in Cote d’Azur, France, to its portfolio.

Marriot will rebrand the Ambassadeur Hotel, which is located in the heart of Juan-les-Pins, as a Renaissance hotel in early 2012 under a management agreement contract with Jesta Group.

Located near Ambassadeur beach, the hotel features 221 rooms including 25 suites, 22 meeting rooms and indoor and outdoor pools.

Marriott plans to double its portfolio in Europe by 2015 and has 23 hotels under development.
