Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has signed an agreement with Faik Celik Turizm, a division of Turkey-based Faik Celik Holding, to develop two hotels in Bursa, Turkey.

The new hotels, including one Sheraton and one Aloft hotel, will be built near Bursa New Cultural Green Park and are expected to open in 2013.

The Sheraton Bursa Hotel will feature 171 rooms, 1,700m² of meeting space, two restaurants, a bar, a fitness centre, a pool and a spa.

The Aloft Bursa hotel will feature 133 rooms, a pool, a bar and a fitness centre.

Starwood operates five hotels in Turkey and plans to open two additional hotels in the country later this year.
