Morgans Hotel Group has signed an agreement to manage a Mondrian hotel located on the West Bay Lagoon in Doha, Qatar.

The hotel is under construction and expected to open in early 2013.

Construction of the property, which is owned by a member of Qatar’s royal family, is financed by a Qatar-based bank.

The property will feature 265 rooms, restaurants, bars, a spa and an indoor / outdoor rooftop pool and bar.

Under the contract, Morgans will manage the property for 30 years with extension options.

Morgans also announced management agreements for three new hotels in Cabo San Lucas, coastal Turkey and New York City.
