The provincial government of Guizhou, China, is to add 200 hotels by 2015.

According to statistics, Guizhou is constructing 91 three-star hotels and 48 five-star hotels.

The Chinese province aims to increase the number of hotel rooms from 24,000 to over 60,000 within the next four years, according to chinahospitality.com.

So far, Guizhou has attracted several global hotel brand management companies, including Sheraton, Hyatt, Hilton, Kempinski, InterContinental Hotels Group and Shangri-La.
