The hotel is expected to open in 2012 and will be Accor’s second Ibis hotel in Saudi Arabia after Ibis Riyadh, which is scheduled to open in early 2012.

Accor operates nine Ibis hotels in the Middle East, representing 2,203 rooms, with five in the UAE, two in Kuwait, one in Jordan and one in Oman.
