Hyatt Hotels announced that its affiliate has entered into an agreement with Driftwood Maldives to manage the Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa, the Maldives.

The hotel is the first in the Maldives to operate under Hyatt flag, and was rebranded on 1 April 2011.

The property opened in late 2009 and had been operating as Alila Villas Hadahaa.

Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa, designed by SCDA Architects of Singapore, features 50 villas with private decks, 36 of which include gardens with plunge pools, outdoor baths and rain showers. There are also two restaurants, a pool-side bar, a fitness and health centre, multiple swimming pools, and a diving water sports centre.
