Wyndham Hotel Group is to manage three newly built Planet Hollywood properties in Central America, the Middle East and Asia.
The proposed hotels will be located in Doha, Qatar; Panama City, Panama; and Boao, China.
Owned by Regency Group Holdings, the Planet Hollywood Hotel Entertainment City in Qatar will feature 300 guestrooms, a restaurant, a cafe, a lounge, meeting facilities, a fitness centre, a spa and a pool. The property will open in 2014.
The hotel in Panama is owned by RG Hotels and will provide 309 rooms and suites, two restaurants, meeting, convention and event facilities, a business centre, a gym, a pool, a rooftop bar and terrace, and a spa.
The property is expected to open in the city’s financial district in 2014.
The proposed 350-room Planet Hollywood Hotel in Boao will be part of a resort currently under development in the province of Hainan Island.
The hotel will feature three restaurants, a bar, an indoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, a spa and 3,600m² of meeting and event space.
