Russia Sales Marriott International has launched a new global plan to improve the delivery of its sales and account management services in Russia.

The strategy is part of Marriott International’s plan to double its presence in Europe from 40,000 rooms to 80,000 rooms between 2010 and 2015.

The hotel group has 12 properties in Russia and plans to add three more hotels in the country.

The new hotels include Courtyard Irkutsk City Center and the Courtyard Moscow Pavelestskya, which are scheduled to open in late 2011, and the Krasnodar Marriott Hotel, which will open in 2012.

Marriott will also introduce a new sales structure and enlarge its Global Sales Organization.
